INTERESTS

My research journey started with the study of Magic: the Gathering players and how they created and maintained a sense of community.

Community continues to be a large interest of mine, however I am also interested in being an advocate for users of all abilities. Having studied disability, I believe that keeping accessibility as a concern during development will only improve the user experience.

A good portion of my previous experience has been in non-profit, cultural institutions. This has led to a curiosity for monetization not just for this industry, but also for free apps and video games. As a video game player my whole life, I would love to work more with games and their community which would bring all my interests full circle.
